Identify two examples that illustrate how an RN improves the quality of ambulatory care: *Ambulatory care nurses focus on patient safety, apply appropriate nursing interventions, conducting health education, promoting patient advocacy, assisting patients to navigate the health care system, and evaluating patient outcomes. *Ambulatory care nurses facilitate continuity of care by using nursing process, interprofessional collaboration, and help coordinate and find access to health care services in the community.
