Joanne Martin currently works as an Ambulatory Nurse Practice Coordinator and Clinical Educator for Kaiser Hawaii. She is also an American Heart Association instructor for BLS, ACLS, and PALS. Joanne lives and works on the island of Maui. She has many years of experience as a staff nurse, nursing leader, and clinic administrator. Since moving to Maui, she has been instrumental in the development and implementation of ambulatory care "simulation-based" emergent event training. Joanne is passionate about using simulation to improve patient safety and she believes the applications can be beneficial in all healthcare settings.
