Debra Wise attended Illinois Valley Community College in Ogelsby, IL, and graduated with an Associate Degree in Nursing in 1977. She completed her BSN in 2000 at Saint Francis Medical Center College of Nursing in Peoria, IL. She has worked in various care settings across the continuum including labor and delivery, neonatal intensive care, and home care, and then "saw the light" that ambulatory was where the future of health care was heading. She has worked in the medical group setting for the past 12 years. Debra is currently employed by OSF Healthcare Systems and is the Manager for Population Management. She oversees a team of more than 30 ambulatory care management staff, integrating with home care and inpatient facilities across their system. Debra has been married to her husband Michael for 37 years, and has 3 children and 4 granddaughters.
