Leilani A. Siaki PhD, FNP-BC

Dr. Leilani Siaki is an officer in the United States Army, serving as the Chief of the Center for Nursing Science and Clinical Inquiry at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington. Her research interests and publications include culturally congruent approaches to primary prevention of metabolic syndrome, CVD, Diabetes Type 2, healthy weight management in vulnerable populations, evidence-based practice, and using mixed methods. She is a cardiology nurse practitioner, a peer reviewer for three professional journals, and an associate editor for the Journal of Transcultural Nursing.
