Elizabeth Fields BSN, RN

Elizabeth Fields is a nurse manager of ambulatory care in adolescent medicine in the department of pediatrics at UK HealthCare in Lexington, Kentucky. She graduated from West Virginia University at Parkersburg with her ADN in 2008 and later went back to obtain her BSN. She is currently enrolled in an MSN program for nursing leadership. She worked as a bedside nurse for the first 10 years of her career in adult critical care, dialysis, and neonatal intensive care. She has spent the last 2 years in a nurse manager role in adult and pediatric specialty care ambulatory clinics. She has worked very closely with the team of nurses to rapidly develop a telehealth program from the ground up to be able to better serve the adolescent medicine population and to keep the clinic open during the COVID-19 pandemic.
