Kathleen Martinez MSN, RN, CIC, CPN

Kathleen Martinez has been a pediatric nurse for 30 years and has worked in ambulatory care for over 20 years. Much of that time was spent in telephone triage, where she was clinical coordinator of a call center for 6 years. Currently, she is the president of AAACN. She has served as a member of the AAACN ambulatory care nursing sensitive indicators task force and collaborated on the “Ambulatory Care Nursing Sensitive Indicators" article published in Nursing Economic$, on The Role of the RN in Ambulatory Care Position Statement, and has presented at numerous AAACN conferences. She is also a certified EBP mentor through CTEP, the Center for Transdisciplinary Evidence-Based Practice.
