Sarah Brzozowski PhD, MBA, BSN, RN, NEA-BC

Director of Magnet and Nursing Excellence, UW Health

Dr. Sarah Brzozowski is a recent PhD graduate from the UW-Madison School of Nursing. Her program of research explores leadership, organizational culture, and nursing excellence. For her dissertation, Sarah studied these concepts in primary care settings. Sarah received a bachelor of arts degree in Spanish from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, a bachelor of science degree in nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and a master’s degree in business administration from Arizona State University. She is board certified as a nurse executive advanced by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and serves on the board of the Forum for Shared Governance. She is currently serving as the director of Magnet and nursing excellence at UW Health in Madison, Wisconsin, where she oversees Magnet as well as other programs that advance the professional practice of nurses including shared governance and nursing research and evidence-based practice programming.
