Identify two examples that illustrate how an RN improves the quality of ambulatory care: *Ambulatory care nurses focus on patient safety, apply appropriate nursing interventions, conducting health education, promoting patient advocacy, assisting patients to navigate the health care system, and evaluating patient outcomes. *Ambulatory care nurses facilitate continuity of care by using nursing process, interprofessional collaboration, and help coordinate and find access to health care services in the community.

How I identify two examples that illustrate how an RN improves the quality of ambulatory care: 1 - RNs are qualified to provide safe, evidenced-based nursing care using telehealth services that have a direct positive impact on coordination of care and reducing patient risk of admission/readmission 2 - RNs are key in supporting health promotion through patient education using a holistic and laymen's approaches that is readily understood and accepted by patients which leads to greater chance of achieving an optimal health status

I have gained better understanding of my role and rationale behind each task I do each day and increase my confidence with collaborating care with other members of our care team.

Identify two examples that illustrate how an RN improves the quality of ambulatory care. RNs improve the quality of ambulatory care by promoting patient advocacy and coordinating necessary health care services and resources for patients. Patients and their families/ support systems need to be properly educated as well as needing support and encouragement in whatever decision making that is needed. By providing patients with accessible outside community resources, patients can improve the management of their health and well-being, as well as decrease the chances of adverse events.

Two examples of how the registered nurse improves the quality of care in ambulatory nursing - Ambulatory care nurses identify problems in health status, communicate these problems in order to advocate for the patients health improvement and prevent them from being admitted to the hospital more frequently. Ambulatory care nurses identify safety risk with their patients, advocate change in policy and procedure in order to minimize risk and improve patient outcomes.

Two examples of how an RN improves the quality of ambulatory care: The RN focuses on safe, quality care and improved patient outcomes. And enhances patient safety, reduces adverse events, improves patient satisfaction, and helps support and promote optimal health status. The RN also help patients and providers in health promotion, disease prevention and early intervention.

two examples that illustrate how an RN improves the quality of ambulatory care. RN can help facilitate care in-between multiple teams members, and help coordinate the care for it. They can communicate to multiple providers to help make sure the patient needs are met. Care can get complex with home health, multiple providers and possible multiple health care systems. This helps decrease readmissions if all providers are on the same page. Another way Rn improve ambulatory care, is through virtual care. RNs play a critical role in the delivery of telehealth services and virtual care. They can help triage and determine care for a patient. Patients can call 24/7 nurse hot line to help determine where they should go get care. For example, a patient complaining of sore throat and ear pain past pcp hours. A triage nurse can assess symptoms and guide the patient to go to Urgent care or PCP walk-in as this may not be a medical emergency, and can wait until the next day to be seen. This decreases cost for patient and the health care system as well as keep our ER available for true emergencies.
