Alysia Adams DNP, APRN, AGACNP-BC, CCRN, NE-BC

Dr. Alysia Adams is the vice-president of operations and chief nursing officer for Luminous Nursing Staffing. She recently held the role of systems director at the University of Florida Health in Jacksonville, FL, where she was responsible for areas of nursing administration, nursing education, professional practice, research, Magnet, and wound care. She is a member of the undergraduate faculty at University of Florida College of Nursing. Additionally, Dr. Adams is the owner and principal consultant for Nursing Notes Consulting, LLC, which works at leading how nurses influence and tackle healthcare project management from the perspective of a nurse, leader, and provider. Dr. Adams has more than 10 years of nursing experience and received her DNP and BSN degrees from the University of Kentucky. In addition to her work for the American Organization for Nurse Leadership, Dr. Adams has also been active in the Society of Trauma Nurses, Florida Organization of Nurse Leaders, Emergency Nurses Association, American Trauma Society, Society of Critical Care Medicine, American Association of Nurse Practitioners, American Association of Critical Care Nurses, American Nurses Association, Florida Nurses Association, Kentucky Nurses Association, and Sigma Theta Tau.
