Anjal Pong was an operating room nurse for over 20 years before taking the role of Clinical Nurse Educator at the Institute for Nursing Excellence at University of California San Francisco. In this current role she covers the pediatric operating room as well as centralized education initiatives. She participates in training programs, nursing orientation, and creative modalities for delivering nursing education content. Anjal also serves as the coach for the hospital-wide Professional Development Council and has mentored multiple Evidence-Based Practice Fellows. As a certified Nursing Professional Development specialist, her passion is to arm the clinical nurse with skills to share their work with the world. She is a member of the Bay Area Perioperative Educators and is an officer in her local Association of OR Nurses chapter.
