Barbara Hepp is a transition care coordinator registered nurse for Children's Hospital Colorado. She is a certified pediatric nurse and has been practicing for 29 years, with 21 years of those years in ambulatory care in the special care clinic. She has performed many nursing roles in her clinic with complex medical children, including clinic role, triage RN, and care coordination. She is one of the founding team members of the adaptive care program, which uses a multidisciplinary approach to planning additional support for patients with developmental delay and healthcare anxiety. The program has educated both inpatient and outpatient teams at Children's Hospital Colorado and has earned grant support from executive leadership.
