Cassie Sutten Coats (they/them) is the program manager for leadership development at Brown University. They have over eight years of experience leading public health research, operations management, and sustainability initiatives in academic, community-based, and outdoor settings. Prior to their work in higher education, Cassie co-founded Rhode Island’s only LGBTQ+ health center. They are a board member for Rhode Island’s Youth Pride, Inc., the state’s only social services organization serving queer and trans youth. Their experience spans multiple industries and content areas with a focus on transformative practice to affirm, engage, and develop students, leaders, and constituents.
