Dr. Diana Alemar holds a DNP degree and is board-certified in ambulatory care nursing, nursing professional development, and as a nurse executive. She has over 25 years of experience in healthcare. Diana has worked at New York-Presbyterian Hospital since 2002 and is entering her 10th year as program director for nursing professional development for quaternary medical center and ambulatory care network. In addition to her extensive background in nursing, Diana has worked as an adjunct professor teaching community health nursing. In her tenure at NYPH, Diana has modernized and aligned general nursing orientation. She is an active member of AAACN, working on the task force that developed "Best Practice Guidelines for Academic and Practice Partnerships in Ambulatory and Community Settings" and leading the brilliant members of group four.
