E. Mary Johnson BSN, AMB-BC, NE-BC (ret.)

E. Mary Johnson has been a nurse leader for the past 40 years. She is a career coach for nurses and a patient navigator in Cleveland, Ohio. She was the director of ambulatory care nursing at Cleveland Clinic Foundation prior to retiring. She served as a consultant administrator for advanced practice nurses at Cleveland Clinic Foundation for 5 years and then created the Career Coach for Nurses Program, focused on recruitment and nurse retention. Currently she practices as a career coach for nurses. Her professional commitments include serving on the content expert panel for nursing leadership for the American Nurses Credentialing Committee (ANCC), past president and board member of AAACN, and former member of TJC Professional – Technical Advisory Board. She currently serves as faculty educator for AAACN’s ambulatory care nursing certification review course and as an educator for the Relias webinar for ambulatory care certification. She also is a patient navigator consultant.
