Dr. Jamie Brennan is an associate professor at the University of Texas College of Nursing. Developing nurses to successfully encounter the challenges of today’s ever-changing healthcare climate is her passion and commitment. She received her doctorate in nursing administration from University of Alabama – Birmingham, her MSN degree from the University of Texas at Arlington, and her BSN degree from St. Louis University. Prior to joining UTA, Dr. Brennan worked in various leadership and management roles, including as director of nursing in various hospitals and organizations in Texas and throughout the United States. Dr. Brennan is an active board member with the Texas Organization of Nursing Leaders (TONL) and functions as the chair of the social media committee. She is passionate about nurses and nursing leaders having a voice for change in health care.
