Karen Alexander PhD, RN
Karen Alexander MSN, RN is an instructor at Jefferson School of Nursing, Philadelphia, PA teaching community and public health nursing. She participated in all phases of the AAACN Care Coordination and Transition Management Core Curriculum development. After graduating from Grove City College and Jefferson School of Nursing, she practiced as a staff nurse in several neonatal intensive care units and eventually functioned as nurse care coordinator for children with complex needs in an outpatient office at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
