Megan Monson is a care team RN at Mayo Clinic. For one year, she has been part of the medication for opioid use disorder (MOUD) - RN pilot project (within primary care) at Mayo Clinic. She has assisted with the care team RN side of the project, helping to educate other RNs on her team, as well as communicate with MOUD providers and nursing leadership. She has been an RN on the family medicine care team for five years and have watched the MOUD therapy evolve and grow over that time.
