Melora Ferren PhD, RN, NEA-BC, NPD-BC

Dr. Melora Ferren is an accomplished nursing leader and researcher with extensive experience in workforce development, nursing leadership science, and evidence-based practice sustainability. She holds a PhD degree in nursing with a minor in health policy and management from Indiana University and is board certified as a nurse executive advanced and in nursing professional development. Throughout her career, Melora has served in executive leadership roles, including vice president of learning and development and associate chief nurse executive at IU Health, where she led strategic initiatives to advance nursing practice and leadership. She is widely published in peer-reviewed journals and her research spans patient care delivery models, workforce resilience, and implementation science. She has served on advisory boards and committees shaping the future of nursing research. Passionate about leveraging data and analytics to improve patient outcomes and foster compassionate care, Melora continues to drive innovation in nursing research and leadership development.
