Patricia Phelps DNP, RN-BC

Dr. Patricia Phelps is an experienced nurse with 30 years of experience in varied practice settings, including critical care, ambulatory care, nursing education, research, and nursing professional development. Dr. Phelps is a fellow of the Texas Christian University Evidence-Based Practice Fellowship, and for the past eight years, she has focused on evidence-based practice and nursing professional development for telehealth nursing. Practicing and teaching communication skills is a major part of Patricia’s role. As a nurse educator, Patricia developed simulation activities to supplement didactic and clinical instruction for all courses taught, to include behavioral health nursing.
