Rhonda Edwards started her nursing career at Texas Children's Hospital in 1991. She leads the ambulatory care clinic's recognition subgroup at Texas Children’s Hospital. She is also the nurse lead for the KIDS Houston chapter, part of International Children’s Advisory Network/iCAN Research. She has been the chair-elect for the Staff Patient Education SIG this past year and has been a AAACN member for many years. She has been certified in pediatric nursing (CPN) since December 1995 and is certified in ambulatory care nursing (RN-BC) since August 2019.
