Sharon J.J. Peacock MSN Ed, RN, NPD-BC, AMB-BC

Sharon J.J. Peacock has been a registered nurse for 29 years, working in the acute and outpatient settings including primary care and specialty medicine. For the last 12 years, she has worked as a nursing professional development generalist for Sentara Ambulatory Services Division. As part of this role, Sharon is responsible for the development and implementation of clinical staff education, functions as a learning facilitator, supports orientation and continuing education, and implements education on competencies and skills validation. Sharon has been a member of the Staff Patient Education Special Interest Group (SIG) Advisory Committee for three years and is the current chair of the SIG.
