DEI is an important consideration in health care and is at the forefront of today's patient care delivery systems. This session discusses the Board-initiated creation of a task force and charter focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion alignment with AAACN's strategic plan. The members of the taskforce provide an overview of DEI, its relevance to healthcare, engage participants in an interactive exercise, and share the current and future work of the task force with an evidenced-based approach using the membership survey data.
