Remote Virtual SimLearn Physical Examination Training for Nurses
Presented by Toni O’Day, MSN, RN, NEA-BC, CCM; Sherri Boisvert, PhD, MSN, RN and Nina Morris, MSN Ed, RN
This session explores an innovative way to train outpatient nurses in palpation skills in remote areas when there is no provider onsite, allowing someone with hands-on assessment skills to provide feedback that can be used for clinical decision-making.

Nursing Video Blood Pressure Visits (VBPV): Leveraging Virtual Visits and Nursing Expertise to Meet Veterans’ Needs
Presented by Sandra Guerrero, MSN, RN, AMB-BC, CNL and Cortney Frosch, MSN, RN, CNL, CDE
This session discusses the value that video visit modality provides in nursing care management, the ways that video blood pressure visits serve as an entry point for nursing virtual practice, and the importance of video blood pressure visits on the management of hypertension.
