The first webinar in this series, Telehealth in Nursing: What is it & Why Are We Doing It, will provide an overview of the current state of telehealth including 1) modes of delivery, 2) equipment, 3) rules & regulations, and 4) impact on nurses and their patients. Participants will gain an understanding of the breadth of telehealth in ambulatory care settings.

This second webinar in this series, Telehealth: Roles and Responsibilities for the Nurse, will address 1) varying roles a nurse may assume related to telehealth, 2) patient populations that benefit, and 3) how telehealth can optimize the nurses' role in ambulatory settings. Emphases will include reasons nurses must embrace telehealth and are well-positioned to serve as champions.
