133 - Ambulatory Care Nursing Research Priorities: A National AAACN Study

Overview

Nurses from diverse ambulatory care roles and practice settings participated in advancing AAACN’s new research agenda to move the ambulatory care nursing specialty forward. Evidence-based practice and research self-efficacy findings provide a platform for AAACN’s Research Committee to develop professional workforce development programs. This session describes the key ambulatory care nursing research priorities identified in this landmark study, explain the self-efficacy of ambulatory care nurses with key research and evidence-based practice skills/competencies, and discuss study implications for ambulatory care nursing education, practice and research.
