Ambulatory care registered nurses in orthopedics working with a joint centers of excellence program had a desire to become more autonomous in their role and to practice to the full scope of their RN licensure. This session describes the development of the enhanced workflow algorithms that allowed the registered nurses to practice at the top-of-scope of licensure and practical and replicable tools that enhanced the efficiency of the interdisciplinary team.
