Adverse Childhood Experiences: Increasing Awareness in Ambulatory Care Nursing

This presentation provides introductory education for nurses on what constitutes an adverse childhood experience, physiologic alterations that occur post-exposure, the unique role of primary care nurses, and the implementation of trauma-informed care.
