The Ambulatory Care Registered Nurse Residency Program: Transition to the Specialty of Ambulatory Care manual identifies preceptors are essential not only to maximize new learners’ competence and confidence, but also contribute to professional socialization and overall success. The AAACN Board of Directors convened the Preceptor Guide Revision Task force to develop a second edition of the publication. This session shares key document revisions, review actionable tools and resources, and use interactive case studies to apply the newly revised manual content.
