As the aging population increases and resources for healthcare decrease, can a step in the transitioning of care be accomplished by using volunteer RNs in an outpatient setting? This session explores how to begin such a program focused on ambulatory or outpatient care, including training, documentation, follow-up, time commitment organization involvement, budget, and lessons learned.
