Simulation in an Ambulatory Setting

Simulation in the ambulatory setting is an effective way to enhance patient safety and promote critical thinking and interdisciplinary teamwork. This session describea how to develop and conduct an ambulatory simulation scenario. Key components to ensure a successful outcome include a standardized approach to scenario development, understanding the use of simulators, and effective debriefing.
