Celebrating a year of success for ambulatory care nursing, Kathleen Martinez will share the highlights of the past year and tell you what’s in store for the future as she gets the conference excitement started. Then, health care leader, accomplished innovator, and nursing champion Dr. Beverly Malone shares expertise from her leadership role at the National League of Nurses in advancing the science of nursing education through promoting of greater collaboration among stakeholders, increasing diversity in nursing and nursing education, and advancing excellence in care for patients.
