Ambulatory Real-Life Simulation Training Scenarios that Helped Improve Staff Training, Patient Safety, and Quality Outcomes

1. Discuss how simulation scenarios were identified as needed for Ambulatory areas of a large tertiary health care organization.
2. Review several simulation scenarios, including how developed, content, how presented, and summary of evaluations by staff attending on relevance to their practice.
3. Discuss patient safety and quality outcomes that resulted from simulation training by ambulatory staff.
