Sharron Coffie is board certified as a clinical nurse specialist (CNS) advanced practice nurse and certified heart failure nurse. As manager of heart and vascular service line programs, she is responsible for new program implementation, data registries, and quality at Froedtert & The Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. She received her BSN from St. Louis University and her MSN from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Sharron was the manager of ambulatory nursing practice and manager liaison for the Ambulatory Shared Governance Council. She has presented nationally on heart health and nursing practice. She is actively involved in the community on boards, AHA Committees, and professional organizations.
Sharron received several awards including the National NACNS CNS Preceptor of the Year Award, Milwaukee M-Magazine Healthcare Hero Award, three AHA Power to End Stroke Gold Achievement Leadership Awards, the Milwaukee Black Excellence Healthcare Award, and the Southeast Wisconsin’s Healthcare Nurse Hero Award.
