Dr. Kristy Chunta is a professor and coordinator of the PhD in nursing program at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She obtained her nursing diploma from Conemaugh School of Nursing, her bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, her master’s degree with a focus in nursing education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and her PhD degree in nursing from West Virginia University. She has been teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses for over 15 years, including undergraduate clinical with senior nursing students and graduate courses that focus on professional role, teaching strategies, curriculum, evaluation, simulation and technology, informatics, and research.
