Anne-Callie Skillman is a registered nurse preceptor at James Madison University in Virginia. She has been a practicing registered nurse since 2002. She began working in primary care specifically in rural health clinics for the undergraduate primary care and rural education project in spring of 2019, with a specific goal to help to create a sustainable goal in the primary care clinics for registered nurses working at the top of scope of practice. As part of her role in the clinic, she also works as a preceptor for undergraduate BSN nursing students to have exposure in primary care with the goal of expanding the RN workforce in primary care.
