Rachel Stevenson is the director of government affairs at the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN). Prior to her arrival at AACN, Rachel spent eight years as a legislative director and senior legislative assistant at Polsinelli and Wheat Government Relations where she provided critical advice and advocacy on behalf of a wide-array of health care clients. Rachel spent more than three years working on Capitol Hill. She also teaches a course on the foundations of health systems and policy as an assistant adjunct professor at Georgetown University School of Nursing and Health Studies.
