Catherine Doernbrack MSN, RN, CPNP

Catherine Doernback is a senior instructor in the department of pediatrics at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, a nurse practitioner for the special care clinic and epidermolysis bullosa clinic, and a liaison to school nurses. She has been working in pediatric nursing for 19 years and has been a certified pediatric nurse practitioner for 12 years in the special care clinic, epidermolysis bullosa clinic, and as a school nurse liaison with a focus on children with medical complexity. She is a founding member of the adaptive care program that began in 2012 which uses a multidisciplinary proactive approach for working with patients with developmental delays and anxiety in the medical setting.
