Melissa Bowen has been a nurse for 29 years and has been working in ambulatory care for the past 20 years. She has worked at Duke Health for 20 years, spending the past 8 years at Duke Primary Care as an ambulatory nurse manager. Melissa is a member of the AAACN Nurse Telephone Triage Task Force where they are developing educational modules for the telephone triage nurse.
