Natalie Manolakis MS, RN

Natalie Manolakis has worked for University of Utah Healthcare Hospitals and Clinics in SLC, Utah for 18 years with more than 14 years in progressive management and leadership roles. She has spent the last 5 years in the Ambulatory setting as the Director of Clinical Operations in University of Utah’s Community Clinics across 11 geographical locations, spanning over 10 cities. Natalie has oversight of Nursing Services and clinical support staff in 7 of their free standing multi-specialty health centers in addition to 3 service lines including the Care Navigation Center – Nurse Triage Department, Urgent Care clinics at 7 locations, and OB/GYN services in 14 different departments with more than 350 FTE. She was directly over the development and implementation of the Nurse Triage department launching in 2012 as part of an already established non-clinical scheduling and messaging center for University of Utah Health Care handling more than 80,000 calls for more than 250 providers’ monthly supporting primary and specialty care services. The Nurse Triage department has evolved the last two years to include a variety of outbound services supporting population management, transition of care calls,post-surgery and procedure calls, medication refills, and will be going live with direct to consumer Telehealth visits in collaboration with University Health Care’s Urgent care providers later this month. Natalie is the outgoing chair for the telehealth nursing practice special interest group at AAACN.
