
Renee Parnell McLeod PhD, APRN, CPNP, FAANP
Dr. Renee Parnell McLeod is Dean and Professor in the College of Nursing at United States University in Chula Vista, California. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Tennessee; her Master’s degree in Nursing from the University of California; and her PhD from Widener University in Pennsylvania.
Dr. McLeod is a nationally recognized expert in the area of infant skin care and handheld point of care technology to advance interdisciplinary education of healthcare professionals and support evidence-based practice. She has worked with many businesses over the years to bridge technology into practice and currently is a consultant and advisory board member for five national and international companies, including working with the Philippines to add technology into the nursing curriculum.
