Dr. Edtrina Moss is the ambulatory care services director of nursing, surgery services line, at Harris Health System in Houston, Texas. She has been a registered nurse for 25 years. She received her BSN and MSN degrees from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and her PhD in nursing science degree from Texas Woman's University in Houston, Texas. She is a member of numerous professional organizations including the American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nursing, the American Organization of Nursing Leadership, the Texas Nurses Association (TNA), and the American Nurses Association (ANA). She serves on the board of directors for TNA District 9 and TNA state. She also served as the chair of the AAACN Ambulatory Care Nursing Scope and Standards Revision Task Force, 10th edition, and is a member of the AAACN Legislative Committee.
