Maureen Power is an experienced in-house senior legal nurse consultant working with the defense firm of Power & Cronin, Ltd in Oak Brook. She is an author, national speaker, and former technical advisor to Joint Commission and is a board member with the Advocate Health System. Maureen’s service line includes risk management, health care re-organization, focusing on patient safety, quality, peer review, credentialing, and assisting hospitals to achieve top quarterly status in today’s healthcare reform environment. She has been an active member with AAACN for more than 20 yrs, chairing the TNP SIG, and Web site committees. She was the co-founder of Health Connections, a national call center.
