Commander Trish Hasen (pronounced HAY-sin) is currently assigned as the Director of the Navy Trauma Training Center co-located with the Los Angeles County and University of Southern Medical Center. She is the first Nurse Corps Officer to head the unit that prepares Navy and other medical professionals in the provision of quality trauma care prior to deploying in support of contingency operations (such as Afghanistan).
Previously, she was the Clinic Manager for a large and busy residency training Family Medicine Primary Care Clinic located on Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton. While there, she was charged with implementing the Patient-Centered Medical Home which included integrating behavioral health as part of Primary Care. Today she will share her story and experiences and tell us a little about the Joining Forces Campaign.
Please welcome Commander Trish Hasen.
