Ambulatory care registered nurses (RNs) are essential to healthcare access, quality outcomes, and cost containment through efficient and effective resource allocation. AAACN is invested in a future that maximizes the role of the ambulatory care RN and requires a continuous focus on improvements in practice, education, research, and leadership. This session discusses the current state of ambulatory care nursing and the crucial role of the RN as a care provider, care coordinator, and care partner in an open town hall format that allows attendees to share their unique perspectives and personal experiences.
