According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, nursing is one of the unhealthiest professions, and the pandemic has shone a spotlight on the critical need to address nurses' mental health and overall well-being. As one of the most trusted professions, nurses have enormous potential to lead health care change as role models, advocates, and educators, but they must acknowledge the importance of addressing their own health and well-being. Join Director of Nursing Programs Dr. Katie Boston-Leary, joined by special guest ANA President Ernest Grant, as she shares her expertise; discusses the importance and criticality of nurses' wellness and its stronghold on the nursing workforce; and shares ways that nurses can advocate for their needs, impact system change for their own betterment, and contribute to the building of communities of overall health and well-being.
