This session focuses on assessing the perceived and actual knowledge of diabetes mellitus of the staff nurse. Recognized as a national epidemic, diabetes mellitus presents significant implications for patient care, nursing practice, and nursing education. The presenters share results of a descriptive study that can be used to plan and implement strategies to promote nursing team education.
Learning Objectives:
