Objectives:

  1. Discuss a deposition and how it will be used by attorneys in the preparation for trial for a lawsuit. 
  2. Discuss the rationale for conducting the deposition, use of the oath, and the recording of testimony.
  3. Evaluate the credibility, experience, and opinions of the nurse witness.
  4. Discuss the preparation a nurse must undergo in preparation of testifying.
