Dr. Eileen Esposito is a senior healthcare executive and former VP of Ambulatory Clinical Practice and Quality for Catholic Health on Long Island, NY. Dr. Esposito has over 40 years of experience in leading clinical and administrative programs with a focus on quality and population health for several large health systems in NY. She is triple board certified in Ambulatory Care Nursing, Quality, and Lifestyle Medicine and firmly believes that addressing the underlying causes of chronic disease will yield greater results than treating the symptoms. By focusing on improving outreach and engagement, access to care and educating patients and their families on preventive health and obtainable lifestyle changes, Dr. Esposito has demonstrated significant improvement in recommended care for chronic disease in the Medicare Fee-for service population of the health system.

Dr. Esposito is well-versed in health policy and helps providers to understand the paradigm shift behind the need to transition from an RVU-driven volume-based system to one where value and appropriateness drive efficient patient-centered care.

As a published author, Dr. Esposito lectures both nationally and internationally on various quality topics. She is currently an appointed member of NQF’s National Quality Partners Leadership Consortium and is serving on the action team focused on addressing adolescent mental health and suicidality. Dr. Esposito serves on the advisory board of New York Institute of Technology School of Nursing. She currently serves on the board of the Nursing Alliance of Quality Care and formerly served as a Director and Treasurer on the AAACN board of directors.
