Dr. Ann Marie Matlock DNP, RN, NE-BC

Dr. Ann Marie Matlock is Service Chief for the Medical Surgical Specialties Service in the Nursing Department at the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center. Dr. Matlock has been a nurse for over 25 years and has held a variety of clinical and leadership positions throughout her career including the development of the Special Clinical Studies Unit, which is used for high level isolation, including Ebola Virus Disease. She has published several articles and provided presentations on a variety of topics including Ebola Virus Disease and Ambulatory Care Nurse Sensitive Indicators. Dr. Matlock was the co-chair of AAACN’s Nursing Sensitive Indicator Task Force and one of the editors for the Ambulatory Care Nurse Sensitive Indicator Industry Report published in 2016.
