Dr. Harriet Udin Aronow is a Research Scientist in Nursing at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California; and Director of Data Management Services for the Collaborative Alliance for Nursing Outcomes (CALNOC). Dr. Aronow’s work has largely been inter-professional, team-based research and has focused on evaluation of home and community-based preventive health interventions, health services for vulnerable populations, and nursing outcomes and quality improvement. Dr. Aronow has had a 40-year career in health services research and evaluation in inpatient and ambulatory health care delivery settings. For two years, she has been working in the AAACN collaboration with CALNOC to develop nursing sensitive performance indicators and a benchmark data registry for ambulatory care nursing.
